Wicker Park Chicago Engagement Session // Lindsey & Jon

This past fall, I flew out west for Lindsey & Jon’s Wicker Park Chicago engagement session. We spent the afternoon exploring their favorite neighborhood, and I was successfully blown away by the amount of ivy covering every building in sight – if you know me, you know how much I LOVE ivy-covered buildings. I loved getting to see their home, meet their amazingly adorable cat (she has a mustache! I’m dead.), and admire the gorgeous, sometimes quirky homes. See the yard scene below with sheep + ducks to see what I mean – they change their scene regularly and it’s a favorite for Jon and Lindsey to walk by. We also spent some time with the chickens and anti-social goats in the community garden that they care for, and we stopped by a mural of a bear eating pizza. No frills, no tourist traps, just some favorite neighborhood spots and two wonderfully silly humans…and a cat, a bear, some chickens, two goats, and more.
