Society Hill Philadelphia Engagement // Kate & Greg
May 13, 2020 , Couples

Blogging these days feels strange. It’s been almost two months since I photographed clients, and each weekend that passes without a wedding or portrait session feels surreal. My couples who pivot their wedding plans gracefully are such a huge inspiration to me. One of those couples is Kate & Greg, so today I want to share their Society Hill Philadelphia engagement session.
Kate and Greg are two clients who have shifted their wedding plans seemingly effortlessly. Originally they were set to have an event last month, but the pandemic has thrown quite the curveball. Instead, they’re planning on a private backyard ceremony this summer, and a big party next spring to celebrate. I’ve always loved the idea of this combination (Ross and I are likely doing the same thing!), and my hope is it will be a blessing in disguise to draw the festivities out longer. One day seems too quick to celebrate love!
Kate & Greg flew out from Idaho and we wandered through Society Hill, Head House Square, and Old City on a warm autumn day after a morning rainstorm. Big thanks to Bloomsday Cafe for letting us take some indoor portraits with the best tea and coffee! From the beginning…
