A Mosquito Supper Club Wedding in New Orleans

Maggie & Keith – Mosquito Supper Club & Twelve Mile Limit

The character of New Orleans is so unique and vibrant, and it’s always a delight when I get to visit. Over a decade ago, Maggie & Keith met while working New Orleans, so it seemed like a natural pick for where to get married. For their wedding, forty-some loved ones converged on the Big Easy for a weekend of great food, music, and celebrations.

Mosquito Supper Club served up an incredible family-style cajun meal for guests. They’re especially known for their seafood dishes that celebrate the bayou & traditions of the region. Guests enjoyed gumbo, crab cakes, ceviche, and craft cocktails to stay cool on the hot September night. The intimate “cajun grandma” style of the interior made it feel like having a party in your own home. After, the party continued to a favorite dive bar, with a DJ spinning retro tunes. Proof that the best weddings are the ones as unique as you are. Vendor list below.

From the bride, Maggie: “The colors and light and framing.. you caught the setting as well as the emotions so fully. I can feel the love between us and that surrounded us by looking at these, and there’s nothing more valuable than such a pure reminder of that. You really have a gift and I can tell how much intention and expertise and intuition went into these.”
