A Rolling Hills, Southern California Backyard Wedding // Mari & Andrew

It’s a pretty special day when I’m asked to fly back home to the west coast and photograph the wedding of a childhood friend. Mari and I go all the way back to elementary school, and it was so awesome to get to document such a big part of her life. She & Andrew are surrounded by so much love, and I can honestly say it was an honor to get to photograph their Southern California backyard wedding. Sure, the weather, scenic views, and hometown nostalgia helped, too, but mostly, it was the people. Seeing so many familiar faces filled with emotion? The absolute best.
